MTDS is the interface between the registrant (client) and the registry and ensure the management of the domain names during their registration periode (contact change, Nameservers modification, domain transfer to another MTDS client …). We also provide nameserver service for who’s don’t have their own servers for free.

On you can register .ma Domain in 5 easy steps that are: 1- check the domain availability and choose 2- provide your account information (customer Information) 3- Provide domain contact Information (Registrant, Admin. Tech. & billing contacts) and the name servers. 4- Pay your domain Once the domain is paid, if you are a new customer you will get a customer ID and be able to connect to the control panel with the password you provide during the registration.

Once the payment is made, the domain will be active on 3 (three) working days.

When your register a domain, MTDS provide you a Customer ID and a password. You may connect to the control panel http://www.domain.ma/customers/ , choose the domain you want to change the contacts and follow “manage my contacts” link

When your register a domain, MTDS provide you a Customer ID and a password. You may connect on the control panel http://www.domain.ma/customers/ , choose the domain you want to change the name server for and follow “manage Name Server” link. You can specify your own name servers or choose to host your domain on MTDS servers.

As for the domain registration, the name server change can take up to 3 (three) working days to be completed. You need to wait until the DNS cache has expired.

Technically there is one constraint concerning .ma domain. The number of name servers you can declare is limited to two (2). The registry has it’s own naming for the Name Servers. They are not registered on their real host name. For example a registered domain “example.ma” will have it's declared Name Servers “srv1-example.ma” & “srv2-example.ma” on the registry Servers. These declarations do not lead to a dysfunction of the domain.

To renew you domain name, connect on the control panel http://www.domain.ma/customers/ , choose the domain you want to renew and click on the link “Renew my domain” and follow the steps. After the payment you will receive a confirmation that you domain has been renewed and its status on the control panel will change. NB: your domain must be registered through MTDS in order to use or services for renewal. We can distinguish three types of transfer concerning the domain names .ma at MTDS. * + The first case is when the applicant of the domain name and the current owner are both MTDS customers. The owner of the domain can transfer the domain to the applicant by login on the control panel. The owner of the domain needs the customer ID of the applicant to complete the transfer. * + The second case is when the owner is an MTDS client but the applicant not. As at the registry level, there is not transfer, the owner must cancel the domain and the applicant request the domain creation through MTDS or another registrar. MTDS provide an cancellation notice to the owner of the domain who must be sent with the domain creation request to the registry by the applicant for avoid loosing the domain between our cancellation and the new application. * + The last case is when the applicant is MTDS client but the owner not. The applicant must provide MTDS a cancellation notice signed by the owner on a letter head.

If the transfer is between two MTDS clients or from a MTDS client to someone else the transfer is free of charge. If the transfer is from a non MTDS client to a MTDS client the transfer will cost the same price as a new domain creation. The client is billed only when MTDS is able to transfer the domain on its management.

If you cannot get an arrangement with the owner of the domain, it is possible to contact the registry and declare litigation on the domain name by providing all necessary documents. The registry can decide to cancel the previous registration. If this is not the case you may contact a trade mark office which can help you to take a legal action.
